There are multiple performance metrics displayed on the Social page, and most of them represent something different. This help article will go into detail about what each performance metric represents. As a general rule of thumb - if performance is displayed with a "%" sign, it has had manual balance changes (such as deposits and withdrawals) removed during the performance calculation.
The Social Card
This is the landing page shown when you click on "Social", and the performance shown here represents the aggregate performance over the time frame shown. This means the performance shown on this page includes each portfolio on a Leaders exchange account. In order to emulate this performance, you would need to follow each portfolio a Leader has within that social profile.
The color of the line represents the aggregate raw change in balance over the last 7 days, and it includes manual balance changes such as deposits and withdrawals. This means that a red line does not necessarily indicate a decrease in performance, and a green line could indicate a deposit.
Inside the Social Card
Here, we see how the aggregate performance shown on the social card is broken down. At the top shows the 24 hour aggregate performance for this exchange account, while each portfolio also shows its individual performance for the time frame selected. You can see individual performance for 1D, 1W, and 1M. The 3M graph is shown for informational purposes, however the performance is not calculated at this time.
Additionally, you can see how each portfolio has compared to other portfolios on Shrimpy for the same 3 timeframes. In the screenshot above, this portfolio has performed better than 90% of the other portfolios on Shrimpy.
The Social Graph
Another way to gather information about a Leaders profile is by using the graph. In the screenshot above, you can see an anonymized version of the balance displayed. This is shown as 15.87/100 where "15.87" represents the current balance and 100 represents the all time high of the portfolio. This means that in the portfolio above, the current balance is 15.87% of the all time high of the portfolio.
All of these performance metrics display a slightly different set of data, and together can be used to get an idea of how a Leader is performing as well as determine when you want to start following them.
